Tab Hunter played the male lead. The film was based on the novel by Louis L’Amour, who said that he wrote the novel with Gary Cooper and Katy Jurado in mind.

From Preview 1957, Hollywood – London, Edited by Eric Warman (Alfred Dakers, London) – from the El Ranch Musicale Library, home of many interesting books.

Tim Holt and Richard Martin encounter some unsavoury characters in The Stagecoach Kid (1949).

From Western Film Annual, 1953, Compiled and Edited by F. Maurice Speed (MacDonald and Co.) – from the El Rancho Musicale Library.
